Vanilla

Vanilla is also part of the Lady and Red litter. She resides with her guardian and trainer, Ms. Em Smyth, who specializes in animal behavior and scent detection dog training. Vanilla has a charming personality, much like her brother (Sammie), and is an outgoing dog who loves Em, as well as other people and dogs.

Em describes her as a very intelligent dog who learns quickly, with a likable personality that is both curious and sensible. Vanilla enjoys living in the countryside with Em and Em's mother near Sheffield Forrest and accompanies Em on all her home dog training visits. I receive regular updates about Vanilla and observe her progress as she grows into both a Retrieving and Scent Detection dog. Besides scent detection, Vanilla also competes in Trick Sport and Retriever Trials, where she has placed and qualified at various levels.

Vanilla has completed her house training and basic obedience, and she is quite advanced for her age since she often travels with Em for house visits. She has been familiarized with all farm animals, machinery, and local town visits. Em notes that Vanilla is eager to learn new scents and discover new things, which both physically and mentally tire her. We will continue to advance as she matures.
